TelosNRG CEO Nicol Shepherd thanks Giwa Iziomo as his Business Analyst placement comes to an end

Back to Insights and News

Giwa Reagan Iziomo, a student from Aston University recently completed a 2-month placement with TelosNRG Ltd. As he was promised the placement kept him busy through the opportunity to work on a number of different areas across the business. Work areas included improvements to the management of the clients and prospects database, research to provide market intelligence and identification of business opportunities for Telos to pursue with Data Centre operators, and work scopes associated with the UK’s Net zero economy. With restrictions finally relaxed, Giwa was given the opportunity of presenting his findings in person to the board of directors at the Telos London office.

Reflecting on his time with Telos, Giwa said  “I am grateful to Nicol Shepherd and his team for giving me the opportunity to be part of a dynamic and bold company, made up of dedicated and exceptionally knowledgeable professionals, who despite their many years of industry experience welcomed and encouraged me to express my own ideas. The placement was everything I hoped it would be – challenging me but highly relevant to my areas of study. I was able to apply my data analytics skills with commercial thinking to identify and assess tangible business opportunities for Telos. Throughout my placement, the Telos team were always accessible and provided me valuable advice and direction all the way”.

Speaking following Giwa’s presentation, Nicol Shepherd commented: “Giwa’s work has far exceeded any expectations I had, and the outputs he has produced are of an incredibly high standard. Much of the analysis and the depth of research that supported his findings will be used directly by the company to better pursue opportunities which will help Telos grow its market position.

As an integrated projects and services company with a team of diversely experienced professionals across several industry sectors, placements like this through our collaboration with Aston University allows us to support the development of the next generation of business leaders such as Giwa.

We take this opportunity to thank Giwa for his excellent work at Telos and wish him the very best in his future aspirations. He will always remain a part of the Telos team.”
