Challenge

Our client was concerned that their existing well delivery function was not optimally configured to deliver or their future asset development plans. Our client requested that we conduct an independent review of the organisational model of the function and key interfaces.

Approach

Following a kick-off meeting with our client’s leadership team, we confirmed our client’s objectives and key measures of success.

We developed an approach for our analysis that combined an assessment of culture, capability & capacity, governance, and purpose, i.e. leadership and direction.

Solution

A questionnaire was developed to help standardise interview questions and feedback. Interview responses were qualitatively analysed and scored.

Individual interviews were performed with over 33 personnel from within the function and other functions who interfaced directly with the team. 

Interviews were conducted in our client’s corporate offices as well as in-country offices and in the field. 

Over 90 documents were reviewed.

Outcome

The Telos team identified areas of strength as well as opportunities for improvement within the function and greater organisation
