As founder and Chief Executive Officer, Nicol leads the executive management team at Telos. He is a mechanical engineer by training and has extensive experience in drilling engineering and operations management.

With over 20 Years of national and international experience, Nicol’s career has spanned many countries including the UK, Norway, Germany & Algeria. Most of his career has been spent supporting and managing offshore and onshore projects in the upstream industry for operating companies, including Shell and E.ON.

Prior to launching Telos, Nicol held a General Management position within E.ON Exploration and Production and was accountable for Drilling and Production Operations in the UK.

Nicol began his career in 1997 with BJ Services where he gained significant experience in new technology development in underbalanced drilling.

Nicol is a member of The Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMECHE), The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), and The Institute of Directors (IoD); through which he continues to keep updated on industry trends, whilst maintaining his professional development.

Keith is a Non-Executive Director advising the Telos management board. His earlier roles included Advisor and Director having been appointed in 2019. Prior to this he was Chief Executive of Cabot Energy, an Exploration and Production company listed on the AIM.

With more than 30 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, Keith has developed extensive engineering and executive leadership experience locally and internationally. His background includes both offshore and onshore reservoir engineering; production engineering, asset and operations management and Executive Director roles.

He has significant international experience including UK, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, Italy, Algeria, Canada and the US. Keith has worked mainly with operating companies including Hess, Burlington Resources, E.ON Exploration and Production and most recently with Cabot Energy.

As General Manager Operations for E.ON in Norway, Keith lead the successful start-up of operated exploration drilling, including the development and implementation of a new regional Well Management System. Prior to this at E.ON, Keith managed SNS development and producing assets including Babbage, Rita, Hunter and Johnston.

Angus was appointed Chairman of Telos in August 2021 having previously held the roles of Director and Management Board Advisor. He currently holds directorships in a number of international energy related companies.

Prior to this private sector development work, Angus held the post of Advisor to the UK’s Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) for Energy issues for seven years. From Initially focusing on Central Asia and the Caspian Littoral states, his FCO portfolio subsequently expanded to a global remit, with Angus becoming the chief advisor to the FCO on all energy and oil & gas matters.

Prior to becoming a UK Government advisor, Angus was the Communications Director for Agip KCO; Director of Marketing for PriceWaterhouseCooper’s Global Energy and Mining Group; and an international Public Affairs Manager for the BG Group.

In the course of his various roles, Angus has lived and worked in Iran, Egypt, Jordan, Sudan, Oman, Kazakhstan and the USA.
